A different approach to learning guitar
My aim is to help you understand how music works on the guitar, rather than simply memorising a collection of shapes and patterns by connecting what you hear with what you see on the fretboard, so that scales, chords, rhythm and harmony become parts of the same musical picture.
How the lessons work
Lessons are tailored to what you want to achieve, rather than following a fixed course, we can work on songs, technique, improvisation, rhythm, theory and fretboard knowledge, bringing them together as your playing develops.
What you get from each lesson
Each lesson is recorded so you can relive the horror in the comfort of your own home and you’ll also receive a PDF lesson summary afterwards, giving you a clear record of what we worked on and what to practise before the next lesson.
Who I teach
I teach adult guitarists of all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced players who feel they’ve reached a plateau. Lessons can be shaped around the music you enjoy and the areas of your playing you most want to improve.
